Subject: [Tweeters] Sabine's Gull at Kennedy Creek, Mason Co.

At 3:30 this afternoon, I spotted a juvenile Sabine's Gull, looking
northeast far up Totten Inlet from the Kennedy Creek Estuary site off
US-101. Tide was well out, and it was hanging out in the water just off
shore. Thankfully it took flight after about 5 minutes, as the distance was
extreme. But in flight, SAGU are so very, very distinctive. It flew
towards me, then landed on the mud, still far out, and invisible in a low
spot.
