As the flood water in our field gradually recedes, we've enjoyed many avian visitors. This morning we had 125+ dunlin, 23 lesser yellow legs, 5 greater yellow legs, Canadian geese, one greater-white front goose, mallards, shovelers, wigeons, buffle heads, pintails, teal (including one cinnamon teal), ring-necks, and one northern harrier watching the activity from the fence. A busy morning!
