Much to my surprise, I found an *American Dippe*r foraging in and along the
small creek crossing the trail behind Lake Lorene at noon today. This is
the first Dipper I have seen in this neighborhood in 22 years. Also seen at
that location, was a colorful *Red-BreastedSapsucker.*
