Is this a peregrine or a goshawk?I concur with Kelly's ID on this really magnificent bird (and great photo): juvenile Gyrfalcon. It would seem more likely to see this species in that location than Peregrine or Goshawk, too.

I've been looking for sandhill cranes near Othello, and got lucky enough to see what I think is a goshawk in the fields just east of Othello. I saw it yesterday. I thought it was a large, stocky red-tailed hawk at first glance, and almost kept going. But I decided to get a closer look, and was so excited when I looked through my lens to see that big brown eye and telltale mustache! Question is, I'm unsure what I've seen-is it a peregrine or a goshawk-so I'd appreciate any feedback. I didn't see the white behind the eye the prairie falcon has, so I eliminated that possibility.
