I checked out the Steigerwald Lake NWR, in Clark County, today and found a SAGE THRASHER along the Dike Trail, in the weeds near the eastern barn. This is my fourth record of this species from the patch of Wormwood that grows there. How do Thrashers know that Wormwood is in the Sage family? I also had my first of the year CLIFF SWALLOWS and SAVANNAH SPARROWS on the refuge. Wilson Cady
