Have been following the discussion on bird-banding.



In all my years of volunteering at a bird-banding site, I have witnessed
very few bird fatalities or injuries and the few that have occurred have
been documented.



Actually, what is interesting is how many banded migratory birds are
re-captured year after year at the banding station where they were banded;
meaning they are doing fine and also that the little patch of woods or yard
they are moving through is vital.
