I have photographed two banded Caspian terns?flying?over Edmonds.? The?bands didn't?look like metal?but looked like?brightly colored rubber faucet washers.? Through my photo one tern was identified by Oregon State University as?having been banded seven years previous near Astoria, OR. ?
