Tweeters,

Just read the posting about 85 Greater Yellowlegs in Whatcom County.

Yesterday, we saw 28 in King Co. at the new mitigation area on North side of
S.E. 204th St. (flooded fields area West of Boeing Ponds). We only saw 1 of
them on the flooded fields side. Peak movements in West WA are early-mid
April per "Birds of Washington Status and Distribution"; so right on time.
Any shorebird flock of size and, 28 does qualify, is exciting to see in King
County.
