Sharon and I spent the past two days in the Neah Bay area. Among birds of interest observed were 3 Mountain Bluebirds along the Wa'atch River and an Orange-crowned Warbler at Hobuck Beach on the 10th. 3 Caspian Terns and an adult Bonaparte's Gull were at Hobuck Beach, 27 California Gulls were at Neah Bay, and 55 Sandhill Cranes were seen flying up the Wa'atch River from the mouth on the 11th. Today, there was also an Orange-crowned Warbler at Salt Creek CP and two FOY Barn Swallows over fields adjacent to Pt. Williams Rd., Sequim.
