hi all ... yesterday (friday) the Eared Grebe which Wilson and folks
had reported on the 10th, was still at the Spring Creek Fish
Hatchery, off of Highway 14 ... lighting tho (being on the north
side of the river and looking at the sun) was terrible for
photographs ... binocular views showed nice breeding plumage ... also
hanging out in that area of the Columbia were pairs of Common
Mergansers and one lonely male Wood Duck.
