Tina and I decided to chase some excellent Garfield County birds reported by Gary Bletsch and Mark Crawford last week. We refound many, missed a couple and added some.

Eared Grebe - Central Ferry
Greater Yellowlegs (3) - Lower Deadman Creek
Snow Goose (2) - Willow Landing
Red-Necked Grebe - Rice Bar
Gadwall (2) - Rice Bar
Fox Sparrow - Rice Bar
American White Pelican - 25 at Rice Bar and 40 below Lower Granite Dam

We were not able to relocate the Long-tailed Duck or Eurasian Wigeon at Lower Deadman nor the Lesser Gold Finch at Lower Granite.

Birding Garfield County is always interesting. Today was excellent.
