This reminds me of a "Western" Flycatcher I saw way back on April 13th, 1968. That was in Tacoma, where I was waiting to report in to Fort Lewis, on my way to Vietnam. There was a wet snowfall/flurries. And here was this poor insectivore caught in it. I wondered whether or not it survived.

Had a season first Pacific-slope Flycatcher in the backyard wooded
ravine today (4/14)?and singing away much of the day, a nice early surprise
for here.? Also FOS for this location, a pair of calling Ospreys (missed all together last year) soaring around overhead yesterday (4/13).
