Had my First of the Year Tree Swallows Yesterday But they where to high to say they're going to stay the 14 Violet-greens Swallows I have are all Resident I saw?them?today even in this Cool, Showery Weather. They were looking for the Opening in the Apts and my Nest Box like I have said a few days ago but I had 8 those?increased?by 5 more yesterday Now waiting on the rest of the Trees then soon Barns will also be around with Roughies My area is not to good for Cliffs I live in a nicely treed Neighborhood With a Riparian Pond Nearby Lake Charlton Lake 0.3 Miles away and Zak's Lake 0.7 Miles away and Will's Lake Behind Zak's Lake also have a Gravel Pit on the other side othe the apts with Ponds with Banks for the Roughies I do live near a Bridge But it is not high enough for Cliffs. It is 14 feet. I also Can't wait for the Vaux's Swifts To arrive I have Hollow Trees with?Cavities?in the woods Hoping I get Some Purple Martins I Had them where I used to
live by Mountain Highway up in Spanaway by Walmart they breed somewhere near by I do have reports of nest at Mcchord Which I live Near by So Lets see if I have some Good Luck Hopefully all of you Birders Get your Swallows, Martins, Swifts Soon.

I had my First of the Season Violet-green Swallows where I live on March 21st last year was March 19 th at also I went to Fort Seilacoom Today and had 2 Cliff Swallows 1 Barn Swallow I have yet to have seen Tree Swallows and I have a Riparian Pond Where I live The only Swallows I got are Violet-greens about 8 of them and there looking under the Eaves checking for Openings and Checking my Nest box I also Have a Lake near Where I live taht is 0.3 miles away Lake Charlton which the Riparian Pond Flows into! The only days I don't see the Swallows is cool rainy days, But I have them.

My mom saw a Violet-green Swallow, Checking out my Nestbox on?Tuesday?the 27''th I have been having my Tree and Violet-greens Swallows since the 21''st?Except,?these few cool, rainy days I have only been seen them on the near by lake Charlton Lake which is 0.3 miles from where I live some has been flying low over the Pond in the neighborhood Soon Barns and a Few Cliffs should be start to arrive maybe 1-2 weeks from now.
