Hello all,
I was doing a quick survey a cluster of small parks near my house and
I came across what I assume was a Leucistic American Crow at Scriber
creek park in Lynnwood. I came around a corner and flushed it from the
ground and as it flew to a nearby tree. The primaries of the bird had
a thin (Roughly 1cm) band of white that outlined the edge of the
wings. The tail had similar outlining. I unfortunately only a one
additional brief view as it flew out of sight.

I looked back through the Tweeters archives and found one mention of a
similar bird with photos. The bird I saw had a much thinner band then
this, but it'll give you an idea:

The spots were not very birdy and the most notable thing was absences.
Several Buffleheads and one Ring-necked Duck remained at Sprauge's
Pond park, just across the street, but the American Wigeons, Scaups,
and Northern Shovelers that were so dependable the last couple months
have moved on.

A pair of Hooded Mergansers that have been consistant in the area were
at the Scriber Creek Pond along with a pair of Gadwalls and a few
Mallards.

Scriber Lake Park held a single Mallard in the lake which is usually
full of dozens of them that flock to anyone they see, expecting a
handout. The trees high above the trail appeared to have Orange
Crowned Warblers, but I couldn't make a positive ID from so far away
and such a poor angle.
