Ray,

Great write up! Now once you have walked down the hill once and enjoyed
singing White-crowned - and Savannah Sparrows, you may consider driving
down to the lower parking lot the next time! Of course with the great
weather we have been promised this weekend, it will probably be full!
I agree, that Chambers Creek has great birding potential and the restaurant
makes a pretty decent burger.. There are also numbers of Pigeon Guillemots
around the pilings where the Osprey nest is located and Rock Pigeons,
Pelagic Cormorants and Canada Geese on top. Walking around the whole golf
course, which is a looong hike, will add good numbers of passerines in the
wooded area to your list. I also highly recommend a visit, if you have not
been there!
