The OSPREY nest atop a light standard near the ballpark at the Kitsap County
Fairgrounds is occupied, saw one adult's head peeking out of it this
afternoon when I cruised by to check it out.

Took a brief walk on the Clear Creek Trail wetlands boardwalk today, late in
the afternoon. Had SONG, WHITE-CROWNED, and SAVANNAH SPARROWS, a lone
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD, and VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS. I heard but didn't see
COMMON YELLOWTHROATS, ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, and PURPLE FINCHES. Not a
lot of variety but many individuals.

Out at the barn in Poulsbo the BARN SWALLOWS have arrived.

Bye,
Mary
