Tweeters and Inlanders,

Tina and I were looking for migrants in Franklin and Whitman counties today. The weather was great the migrants were moving, life was good. Notable birds are:

Franklin County

European Wigeon x 2 -- Scooteney Reservoir
Dunlin x 9 -- North end of Scooteney Reservoir
American Avocet x 8 -- North end of Scooteney Reservoir
Black-necked Stilt x 6 -- North end of Scooteney Reservoir

Whitman County

Wild Turkey x 3 -- Endicott-St John Rd and Jones Rd
Dunlin x 2 -- SR23 & Cashup Rd
Red-Naped Sapsucker -- Steptoe Butte SP picnic area

There are lots of Yellow-Rumped Warblers moving through and good numbers of Ruby-Crowned Kinglets. We got our FOY Nashville Warblers at Steptoe Butte.

Good Birding,

Rick
