Hi Tweeters,

I finally got around to about 3 hours in the Woodland Bottoms late this
afternoon (4/24/12).

The field at the intesection of Dike Road and Caples Road had MEW GULLS, 70
CASPIAN TERNS, and 16 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS, most of whom were in breeding
plumage.

Farther south on Dike Road in the riparian area just north of the heavy
equipment traing facility I found calling CALIFORNIA QUAIL, 1 WESTRN
TANAGER, and a LINCOLN'S SPARROW.

The oak woodlot on So. Pekin Road just south of Pinkerton Road held a
