I just had 5 Purple Martins while waiting for a ferry to Sidney BC. They
were out investigating nest boxes on the pilings in the bay. Also present
were multiple Northern Rough Wing Swallows mixed in with Tree, VG, and Barn
Swallows, OC Warbler, Wilson's Warbler, and about a dozen California Quail.
