Hi Tweeters,

Grace completed the challenge of finding 100+ birds in all 39 WA counties on
Apr. 25, 2012. YEAH!

Ollie and I birded primarily in Garfield and Columbia Counties Apr 22-25;
with a little bit of Asotin County.

Many thanks to Gary Bletsch, Mark & Lee Crawford, and Rick & Tina Taylor for
their recent postings about these counties.

Birds of note found per County -location:

Garfield - Lower Granite Dam road: Cinnamon Teal, American White Pelican,
Black-necked Stilt

Garfield - Cemetery on hwy 12 just West of Pomeroy: Lesser Goldfinch

Garfield - Peola Rd on both sides of Asotin/Garfield county line: Golden
Eagle

Columbia - Little Goose Dam Road: American White Pelican, Lesser Goldfinch
at dam visitor center

Columbia - Riviera Road: Gray Flycatcher [very cooperative empid - gave us
15 minutes of photo and looking through scope time - made no sounds],
Grasshopper Sparrow, Rock Wrens (singing away)
