Hi Tweets,

Barbara called this morning from the Hamilton Viewpoint Park where
California Avenue makes an almost 180 degree bend to descend to Alki Blvd
near the Commuter Ferry dock. She had 2 WESTERN KINGBIRDS hawking insects
there. I got there from home in five minutes and got to see the WEKIs, but
missed the 2 BARN SWALLOWS that she had seen foraging overhead with several
VIOLET-GREENS. She also saw a bunch of very dressy grebes from the
waterfront, 150 WESTERN GREBES, plus a few HORNED and RED-NECKED.

Good birding,

Paul Webster
