Hi, Fellow Birdwatchers, I'm getting ready to send in the March/April
list of birds seen and Douglas Co. is missing a few. I shouldn't
complain, as we are at our highest mark for the end of April, 175
species!!! But, we are missing some. So, if you have seen any of these
this year, in Doug. Co., I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in
advance: Gr. White-fronted Goose, Dusky Grouse, Turkey, Pacific Loon,
Pelican, Bittern, Ferruginous Hawk, Sora, Curlew, W. Screech Owl, N. Pygmy
Owl, Burrowing Owl, Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Pacific Wren, Yellow
Warbler, Townsend's Warbler, W. Tanager, White-throated Sparrow, Harris'
Sparrow, Oriole or Purple Finch.

Today I was told of a pair of displaying Clark's Grebes, in Doug. Co., so
went to see them. They were at the boat launch at the bottom of Barker
Canyon, just west of Grand Coulee Dam. Life bird for me! Thanks again
for all your help. Meredith Spencer, Bridgeport
