After a brief morning of birding in the Salmon Creek and Vancouver
Lake areas of Clark County that provided four FOY species (Western
Kingbird, Warbling Vireo, Western Tanager, Black-headed Grosbeak),
this afternoon my wife joined me on a short walk from Wintler Park
downstream to the condos along the Vancouver waterfront. One of the
Pacific Loons is hanging on in the bay where the trail is closed due
to undercutting.
