Subject: [Tweeters] Chambers Bay Golf Course Osprey

I spent part of yesterday and today watching and photographing the
Chambers Bay Golf Course Osprey. One of the three chicks has fledged.
Yesterday it flew to a log about 100 feet from me, then after resting a
bit it tried to land on the bridge railing. That didn't work out too
well so it returned to the nest. Later it flew to one of the cement
supports on the beach until someone got too close and it flew off.
Today it made a short flight and then sat on a nearby piling. The other
two are doing lots of jumping around and wing flapping, so I suppose it
won't be too long now before they take to the air.
The adults caught several fish while I watched. Twice an adult dove
from the nest to catch a fish. I've placed some photos from yesterday
