Our errant visitor is still very much in evidence at Siwash Creek -- we arrived late-ish Wed. Aug. 1 8:15 am, and found the bird about 9:00 am, following the Lazuli all around the uphill/eastern edge of the riparian area, previously described as the location. Both birds circled around and around us, lots of good views, many brief pauses, and at least 3 very long waits in one place (ideal for those photographers with excellent lenses -- not us), which allowed for prolonged viewing.

So if you are still considering the trip to Siwash, it's not too late.
