After a hike to Blue Lake, where we did not see too many birds mostly just
Hermit Thrushes and GC Kinglets, we stopped at the Mazama Store for lunch.
Lots of Evening Grosbeaks there including a very curious young one that came
within a few feet of us. The most interesting bird of the day, was an adult
White-crowned Sparrow foraging around the patio dining area. Seems either
early or very late for them to be in the valley.
