Just heard from a friend that, while on a landscaping job in Edmonds, WA last week, he heard the unmistakeable calls of a begging Merlin the whole time he was working on his job near 9th and Spruce. Sounds like a young one still trying to get a parent to bring in food, meaning there would have been a nest this spring/summer. Something to check out sometime... :-)
