Well i am at the Ventura Harbor and i am looking at a American oystercatcher with three black oystercatchers. It has a complete white undersides. When i first noticed it i checked the field guide and saw American oystercatcher range does come up the pacific to the US Mexico border. I am wondering if there is any new range info and is hybrids in play?
