Thanks Shawneen that is whatni was looking for. Found it hard to believe no one knew of the bird, lot's of folks down here, sincle it is in a spot where every boat floats by.

Ps had a vesper sparrow out on Santa Cruz Island surely a migrant.

Gobs of shorebirds on the move but also Eastern Kingbirds, Yellow Warblers, redstarts, and surprisingly, numbers of House Finches. Migrating House Finches in August is not something I ever paid attention to when I lived there. Tony Leukering pointed it out and sure enough, while there are a lot of House Finches there year around, we definitely saw a number of them on the move Monday morning.
