Subject: [Tweeters] Marymoor Park Report (Redmond, King Co., WA) 2012-08-09

I kayaked the slough beside Marymoor this
evening. Saw what may have been the same pair of
Yellow Warblers (one bright yellow, the other
drab) that Michael saw. Saw a Cooper's also. One
or two Kingfishers. A juvenile Cowbird being fed
by a flycatcher half its size (but didn't get a
photo of that transaction). Spent well over an
hour taking photos of a Green Heron that flew a
couple of times but then settled down for an hour
while I took shots from ten feet away. Saw a
medium-sized Nutria munching weeds in the slough.
Saw an Osprey briefly over the north end of the lake. Etc.
