Just for the record, those most welcome and distinguished first ever
Merlin's that nested and successfully fledged maybe four young in my
Bellevue-Eastgate yard this summer which were really conspicuous and noisy not to
mention most entertaining(!) from about mid-June to mid-July appear to be long
gone now. I have neither seen nor heard any of them around at all now for
about two weeks.
