Thank you to all who have sent great ideas for
birding in Laguna Beach/ Newport Beach Area. I
have some great spots to visit for some really
good birds. Thought I would throw out another Q
to all. It looks like Mt Pinos/Los Padres is
about 2.5 hours away - about the same as Westport
or Ocean Shores from Seattle which I make in a day
all the time. Anyone with recent Condor
experience in the area. Would this be a good idea
or too much of a stretch. I have never seen a
California Condor - only its South American
Cousins, so this is very tempting.

Leave tomorrow and will report back after the trip...
