Hi Tweets,
Eric Slagle passed along a tip from Dick Logan regarding a sighting of a
Long-billed Curlew on the east side of KGY Point, Bud Inlet, Olympia. Matt
Kizer, JC Vicente and myself relocated the bird 3pm on Wednesday 8/15, and
had great looks just east of the KGY radio station on the beach. Dennis
Paulson helped Dick identify the bird from his photographs as a juvenile
LBCU, and we were impressed with how tolerant the bird was of people and
dogs on the beach. Hopefully it sticks around for others to see.
