I had the same question earlier today.? This is what I discovered:? KGY is a radio station on Marine Dr. in Olympia with a building overlooking the mudflats at the sou thern end of? Budd Inlet.? If you have Opperman's Guide check the map on page 213.? For dir ections g oogle Anthony's Hearthfire Grill on 1675 Marine Dr. NE, Olympia, WA 98501.? The Radio station?shares the same beach and is right next?to the restaurant parking lot.? B e sure to check the beach on both sides of KGY.? When I arrived the Curlew was seen from the park?east of KGY.?During the?30 minutes I was there it foraged and flew back and forth along that stretch of beach. ?
