Sunday afternoon (8/18) I photographed two horned grebes?in the?Sound below Sunset Ave. in Edmonds.? The two appeared to be transitioning out of their breeding plumage.???

A group of 6-8 noisy?Caspian terns flew overhead with the "bink-bink" of a juvie standing in contrast to the angry cat growls of the adults.???After a close look at my photos, I believe I did get some shots of the juvie.???
