Hi Tweets, Today on the way to the Olympia Farmer's Market I looked for the
curlews. First in front of KGY and the Hearthfire Grill, then across the
water towards the West Bay side of Budd Inlet. No luck. I then went to the
raised parking area where Cascade Pole used to be next to the East Bay
Marina. It was about 11:00 am and the tide was rapidly going out. There
right in front by the water's edge was one curlew then a little ways back
poking about in the mussel mats was the other. They moved around quite a
bit towards the East bay marina. A spotting scope gave me great views but
bins would have worked just fine [easier to find the birds at first]. Great
