Greetings Tweeters,
Yesterday morning about 1130, I located a hen and two half-grown WHITE-TAILED PTARMIGAN chicks about 50 feet below the northwest side of Mt. Fremont Lookout in Mt. Rainier National Park.

It was a life-bird for my friends Jon and Judy Benedetti.

My thanks goes out to all the WA birders who offered assistance and encouragement.
