A juvenile Hudsonian Godwit was seen at the Tonquin Ave ponds (off Marine View Dr., near Damon Point) about 3:30 p.m. (high tide) -- spotted by Fanter and Ken Lane, and seen by Bob Sundstrom and Seattle Audubon class. The HUGO was with dowitchers and yellowlegs. There were also thousands of peeps, two peregrines, Green Heron et. al. Highlights at Hoquiam ponds were one juvenile Stilt Sandpiper and one Avocet. Lovely day at the coast!
