I apologize for exposing my slow learning curve to Tweeters
readers. After examining the two photos in my previous posts, I've
concluded the bird is a Common Murre. Since it's standing on a beach,
perhaps it's a bird in distress. I am still curious as to why the bird's
bill appears yellow at the base. Could just be the lighting. Charlotte
