Keynote Speaker Paul Bannick will open Puget Sound Bird Fest Friday
evening, September 7, at 7:00 pm, in the Edmonds Library Plaza Room,
with "Owls of Washington by Season and Habitat". Kids and parents can
attend "Owls: Who Are They?" Saturday, September 8 with the Woodland
Park Zoo program in the Frances Anderson Center at 11:00 am. On Sunday,
September 9 the Puget Sound Bird Observatory will lead an owl box
building workshop at the Willow Creek Fish Hatchery. Many other
activities are taking place throughout the weekend. Details are on the
