Tweeters,

Vancouver, WA birders Tammy and Eric Bjorkman called me last night to
report a possible Sharp-tailed Sandpiper at Hoquiam STP seen at about 3pm
yesterday afternoon. It was on the west side of the berm that divides the
two ponds. Eric described the bird as having rufous on the crown and a
rufous/buff wash below instead of the marked contrast of the chest/upper
belly streaks and lower pale underparts of a Pectoral Sandpiper. Their
cell number is 360-213-6489 if you need to contact them directly. They
will be in the Ocean Shores/Hoquiam/Bottle Beach/Tokeland area all day
today and hopefully will be able to find some of the previously Tweeter
reported shorebirds.

Jim - shorebirding vicariously through the optics of other birders.........
