Yes, Ann Marie Wood was sending the Buff-breasted Sandpiper report from her iPhone so it was a short message. It was indeed at the Oyehut Game Range in Ocean Shores and is undoubtedly the same bird that was reported the day before. Hopefully it will still be present today. We did not have good luck with the Stilt Sandpiper or the Hudsonian Godwit. But an Avocet at the Hoqiuam STPs (Grays Harbor County code 5 species) was a great consolation. We also enjoyed finding a juvenile dark Pomarine Jaeger on the Point Brown jetty and then watched it fly off.
