I've been eagerly anticipating the beginning of the night flight over my
yard in Battle Ground, Clark County so I was happy to hear the flight in
the wee hours of this morning. From about 5am-5:30am, there was a steady
stream of Swainson's Thrushes flying over. I estimated about 450 birds (45
notes per minute for 30 minutes divided by three audible calls per bird
within ear-range).

Keep your eyes and ears skyward!
