Hello Tweeters,
I took a trip back to Grayland looking for my Backpack, but really the trip
was for birdying the Shorebirds on Bottle Beach..On the spot I found the
towel where I took for protection for my Camera. But I already took my loss
,what bothered me the most it was Patrick's Backpack,it is so sensitive.
I, birdied partly with Fanter Lane & his Dad,I KNOW FANTER NOW FOR QUITE FEW
YEARS,and always I am so impressed with his knowledge and his humble
attitude. We picked A GREAT BIRDER TO RECEIVE THE YOUNG BIRDERS AWARD!!!!!!
We saw a huge group of SHOREBIRDS THAN including the Hudsonian
GODWIT, with 2 Red Knot.
Watching the migration in the late afternoon is quite rewarding, the groups
coming from every way ,and still finding some food.
Yesterday the birds where pretty close to shore for close looks.
Again we had the Hudsonian GODWIT ,2 RED kNOT 2 BLACK Turnstone
lots of Dowitchers ,Black-bellied Plovers and 1 COMMON MURRE swimming among
the Shorebird. In Westport I MEET THE BIG GROUP of Birders from Spokane who
all was on the pelagic trip.To seining the Bar-tailed GODWIT WAS a trill for
all.THE BIG GROUP OF 850 Marbled GODWIT a also still at the Marina. It was
special to meeting most of the birders from Spokane, and finally to meeting
me finally
I feel so blessed that Patrick got me in to birdying,What would I am doing
all alone with out this hobby

Cheers Ruth Sullivan from Tacoma
