Subject: [Tweeters] ID help - Eide road

I birded Eide Road ponds at high tide on Friday last along with several
others. Note Michael Williston (sp?) pointed out both Baird's and Pectoral
Sandpipers the short time he was there. On leaving, I photographed several
frames of Western Sandpipers flying about in formation. Upon reviewing
several frames, I discovered the reason for the frenzy - a "predator" of
some sort chasing the flock. The first frame looked like a Parasitic Jaeger
in attack mode (see Sibley), but later frames were unconvincing. The
underside was too light and the wings too broad. I've posted three frames
(see link) along with some decent photos of a Peregrine that was harassing
the flock as well. I'd appreciate some help on this one. Link is:

password, type in Durtsche.
