Monday morning I finally?photographed a green heron at Scriber Lake in Lynnwood?for the?first time this year.???? Due to its highly effective camouflage, I probably would not have spotted it?had it not flown in while I was standing on the floating dock.??When it wasn't movng, it would disappear?into the?shadows and foliage surrounding the lake as it?hunted dragonflys at the west end of the lake.
