Subject: [Tweeters] Ruddy Ducks at Capitol Lake--Olympia

During our morning walk, we spotted three Ruddy Ducks at the south end of
Capitol Lake, the first we have seen this fall. All the usual crowd was
there also with several more Shovelers spotted than were seen in prior
weeks.

Meanwhile in our backyard, the number of Pine Siskins has thinned out,
allowing the usual inhabitants, including a Townsend's Warbler, greater
access to the feeders. Looks like the Townsend's Warbler, as has happened
for the last few years, plans to spend the winter.
