Hi Tweets,
just an add on to Phil Kelley's report for the Wednesday morning walk. At
12:30pm from the Nisqually Estuary Boardwalk Trail we had great views of an
Osprey hovering over the flooded mudflats at approximately 100 feet. What
a surprise for this time of year! Matt and I scoped the mouth of Nisqually
from Hoffman Hill Trail at 3:30pm and scoped a second Snowy Owl for the day
and a hunting/perched Short-eared Owl. The SEOW was just east of the
mouth, placing the spot in Pierce County.
