Tweeters,

I made the long trek (35 minutes) to the fill this morning. Looking for the
Phoebe wasn't working initially, so instead I looked for the birders. After
finding a large flock (of birders) along one section of trail I joined them
while they waited for the Phoebe to reappear. After 30 minutes or so, the
Phoebe appeared and slowly circled us allowing for some decent pictures.
This was a big milestone for me, lifer number 500!

Some of the flock of birders had also located the Summer Tanager this
morning so I was given some hints to its location. I believe there is some
sensitivity about sharing its location, so I won't do that, but several of
us were able to see the Tanager in the U district and I was able to
photograph it as well. WAfer number 360 for me!
