The Christmas Bird Count Season begins this Friday, December 14
and that means that count week begins Tuesday for those earliest
counts. AND THIS YEAR THERE ARE NO COUNT FEES (not from National
anyway).

The seven day forecast is out and it looks like the first week
of the count season will be we and on the cool side, with even
a bit of snow east of the Cascades.

to efficiently count all the birds in you assigned area.

Those of you who have the time in your calendar are encouraged to do
more than one count. There are plenty of "rural" counts that could
use the extra hands. After all, there's no longer that count fee
excuse.
